What is exactly wrong with the "old" Team OCX that is still hanging around with quite a few points? :)

HWBot is one of the reasons overclocking is how it is now. Why would you want to be involved with that?

In the past, hwbot was a good motivator to keep the team active.
Besides, most of our scores are done with old-gen hardware and have squat marketing value.

I am not talking about marketing Sam, and HWBot is still a great place to compare scores (probably the only one). I also don't have a problem with sponsored people. My problem lies with the way it had an impact on competitions, with vendors investing less and less, and HWBot helping them do so.

It should have gone in such a way that overclockers should have been more and more advantaged and listened. Instead, the companies invest less and less in this while they get the great marketing bullshit without any real advantages to overclockers. Right now, an overclocker is just a marketing tool and the idea of sport and competition went to the trash. That... I do have a problem with.

Honestly, who gives a fuck about hwbot "competitions" aka money grinding fests for people with golden CPUs? I'm talking primarily about normal hardware rankings that are a lot more fun.

I am talking about the decline of MOA and the idea behind most "competitions" these days.
