Good to see Gigabyte offer an overclocking option at z270 as well. Optics are awesome and first performance tests look good :)

Thanks Mike ,
Z270X-Gaming SOC-CF part 2.-.finish air testing ,will give it a cold splash soon ,..board is very interesting with a ton of cool futures,it's not a two dimmer like I hoped but for 3D it should do well ,bios are little cheeze but work very well ,memory clocking -not for faint hearted.:D.once you learn how the board trains it's very predictable ,here are few higher clock /low V/stability screens

This board looks awesome. Would really like to take this for a spin versus Apex but will wait to see more opinions. Don't have the time to waste getting mems to boot ;)

Little update ;
Bios X8,some more air memory testing ,finally dialed in cold voltages ,board is crazy once you figure out correct settings ..bios boot with full pot

this are some earlier memory air results

cold :twisted:
Note; GTL is early stages so
-clear all check option before applying any changes otherwise it will crash
and
-drain all power on crashes (turn off PSU until the lights go off),after this you good to go again

here are comprehensive voltage table that worked for my particular CPU

yeah ,I was wasting to much juice trying to figure out what's what ,figure might as well post this so others can benefit from it ,the most important voltage for maxing out the CPU is "VCC Substained" (wrong spelling ) or sustained,if I go north of 1.4v CPU will choke around 6.4
